DENSIT®

DENSIT®-AL та DENSIT®-PB

DENSIT®-AL та DENSIT®-PB — are self-adhesive butyl rubber tapes with a polyester-reinforced high-strength aluminium coated foil in silver (DENSIT®-AL) or matt grey (DENSIT®-PB). The highly tacky butyl rubber coating shows excellent adhesion to all common materials and surfaces. As a result, surfaces, edges, grooves and other transitions are completely covered and optimally sealed.

  • Resistant to ultraviolet radiation.
  • Reduces surface temperature by reflecting sunlight.
  • High tensile strength.
  • Highly adhesive butyl rubber coating for optimum adhesion.
  • For temperatures up to +80 °C (+176 °F).

DENSIT®

DENSIT®-AL6

DENSIT®-AL6 Aluminium sealing tape for universal use with high adhesive properties. DENSIT®-AL6 is a soft aluminium foil tape with an acrylic adhesive layer.DENSIT®-AL6 is impermeable to water vapour and oxygen and is UV resistant and can therefore be used, for example, to protect PE-coated pipes from UV radiation.

  • Resistant to ultraviolet radiation.
  • Excellent adhesion to various surfaces.
  • Can be used at low temperatures down to -30 °C (-22 °F).
  • Reflects light and heat.
  • Excellent for sealing thermal insulation and ventilation ducts.

Insulating and sealing tapes DENSIT®

Application

DENSIT®-AL та DENSIT®-PB reflect the sun’s rays and thus reduce the surface temperature of the insulation material. This significantly extends the service life of the pipeline insulation material, especially in hot countries with intense solar radiation. Thanks to their metallic colours, DENSIT®-AL and DENSIT®-PB are also visually appealing for above-ground structures, such as pipeline bridges or the protection of earth-to-air connections.

DENSIT®-AL6 is ideal for UV protection of insulation and for sealing aluminium laminated insulation in ventilation ducts and pipework.
