DEKOTEC® sleeves

Shrink sleeves are successfully used worldwide as a reliable corrosion protection for welded joints in pipes and pipelines and are characterized by their excellent quality. DEKOTEC®-MTS double-layer mastic heat shrink sleeves are applied directly to the steel surface without costly preheating. The robust 2- or 3-layer DEKOTEC®-HTS hot melt adhesive sleeves offer reliable protection even at high temperatures. The 2- or 3-layer DEKOTEC®-BTS butyl sleeves have self-healing properties in case of minor damage to the shell due to a special butyl rubber adhesive.

All DEKOTEC® Shrink Sleeves are confirmed as H2-ready.

PJSC Naftogazbud at the facility of LLC Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine

Objects

Sample of projects

At the facility of LLC Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine, the GTS Operator of Ukraine, PJSC Naftogazbud performed corrosion protection of welded joints of pipes of a 1220 mm diameter main gas pipeline using DEKOTEC®-HTS70 heat shrink sleeves from DENSO GmbH, Leverkusen, Germany, a leading European manufacturer of materials for corrosion protection of metal pipes and pipeline parts. The contractor noted the quality, simplicity and ease of installation of the sleeves compared to the labor intensity of the sleeves from other manufacturers. The proper quality of DENSO materials and the compliance of the resulting anticorrosive coating with the Customer’s technical requirements were confirmed by the results of the tests.
