LARGE DIAMETER PIPES that meet the best international standards.
Electric-welded steel pipes
Electric-welded steel pipes
UKRTRUBOIZOL manufactures longitudinal SAW steel pipes Ø426-1422 mm with a wall thickness of 6 to 24 mm and a length of up to 12 meters from steel of strength class up to K60.
The line’s capacity, depending on the product mix, is up to 25 thousand tons per year.

Full-cycle production
Production of electric-welded steel pipes
The welded pipe production line allows for the manufacture of steel pipe products in accordance with national, interstate and international standards.
This welded pipe production line has no analogues in Ukraine, as it is equipped with modern equipment for the full technological cycle of large-diameter pipe production.
The plant’s products are certified for compliance with the following standards
Production process of welded steel pipes
This line for the production of welded pipes has no analogues in Ukraine, as it is equipped with modern equipment for the full technological cycle of production of large diameter pipes intended for main gas and oil pipelines and includes the following components:
Expansion
To ensure full compliance with the requirements of modern regulatory documents, electric-welded steel pipes are subjected to cold deformation. The deformation is carried out along the entire length of the pipe on a hydromechanical expander.
Expansion involves feeding the expander’s forming tool inside the pipe for a certain length (step), expanding (expanding) this section of length with the forming tool, relieving stresses, and feeding the tool for the next step.
Hydraulic test
Hydraulic press is a test with internal hydraulic pressure to check the strength and density of the base metal of pipes. Hydraulic testing is a necessary procedure that demonstrates the reliability of pipes as elements of pipelines operating under pressure throughout their entire service life. This is extremely important, given the serious danger to human life and health, as well as the man-made hazard in the event of pipe failure and accidents.

Areas of application of tubular products
The pipes can be coated with an external anticorrosive coating of extruded polyethylene in accordance with TU U-27.2-31017014-001: 2005 or an external polyurethane coating using an airless application apparatus.
It is also possible to apply an internal anticorrosive coating with epoxy compositions according to TU U-27.2-31017014-003: 2011.
