It is known that the expansion operation is more efficient and cost-effective than heat treatment in the implementation of the technology for the manufacture of fuel-dispensing devices. Therefore, for the construction of new and reconstruction of existing heating networks, the fuel-dispensing devices produced according to another standard – DSTU 9219:2023 (type 3), which provides for their mandatory expansion along the entire length.
Expansion significantly reduces residual stresses and ensures a normalized controlled change in mechanical properties during pipe redistribution. The technological process of pipe production includes non-destructive testing methods (ultrasonic inspection of welds along the entire length, etc.), mandatory hydraulic testing of each pipe at a pressure significantly exceeding the operating pressure, as well as additional mechanical testing of pipe samples after mechanical aging. This comprehensive approach to quality control guarantees trouble-free operation of pipeline systems.
