This Flow Epoxy Coating is a plant applied thin epoxy layer on pipe’s internal surface to improve flow efficiencyby means of friction and turbulence reducing.
Flow coating is designed to increase gas and oil main pipelines using efficiency resulting in capital economy and reducing of operational costs.
UKRTRUBOIZOL’s Flow coating allows to increase pipeline’s throughput up to 10-15% that may allow to use a smaller diameter pipes or lower compression equipment costs.
Additionally, UKRTRUBOIZOL’s Flow coating protects pipe’s internal surface from corrosion while storage and transportation.
Thanks to the almost mirror surface of the coating, the cost of in-line cleaning during pipeline construction is reduced.
The main advantage of using a smooth coating is the reduction of the friction of the working medium against the wall, thus reducing the cost of transporting the media, as well as:
- Easy and quick commissioning of pipelines. This fact takes place due to the unique anti-corrosion properties of the coating. During storage, the pipe practically does not age and, moreover, does not lend itself to oxidation processes. There is no need to spend financial resources and time on the process of cleaning the pipe from rust and dirt.
- Through to the energy savings that are spent on compression and pumping during the operation of the pipeline system, the inner coating pays off for a period of 3-5 years.
- The composition of the coating does not affect the composition of the working environment, ensuring its perfect cleanliness.
- Reducing the cost of replacing valves. In piping systems made of pipes without a protective coating, valves break more often due to gas that is contaminated with oxidation products.
- The turbulence of the gas stream is reduced due to the internal smooth layer. This leads to more rare cases of critical states, which are determined by the regime of gas movement. The quality of the mode of transportation of the substance increases.
- Reducing the cost of financial support for the maintenance of the pipeline, due to the ability to reduce the diameter of the pipes, by increasing the overall throughput of the pipeline.

This Anti-corrosion Epoxy Coating is a plant applied thick epoxy layer on pipe’s internal surface for internal corrosion protection, reducing friction costs and compression costs.
UKRTRUBOIZOL’s Anti-corrosion epoxy coating protects oil and water pipelines from internal corrosion while operation, storage and transportation.
Additionally, UKRTRUBOIZOL’s Anti-corrosion coating makes a “glass-like” smooth and clean internal surface of the pipe that results in a friction and turbulence reduction, flow efficiency increasing.
Properties and Benefits of Internal anti-corrosion epoxy coatings:
